The Palais-Royal Neighborhood
Nestled between the Bourse and the Palais-Royal, the Galerie Vivienne is one of Paris’s most elegant covered passages. Built in 1823, it has preserved its mosaics, glass roof, and historic boutiques, and remains a popular strolling spot for Parisians and visitors alike. A few steps will take you to the Palais-Royal, the National Library, or the Grands Boulevards, all within a setting that has changed little in two centuries.
